Remember that breathtaking wedding veil Meghan Markle wore when she married Prince Harry in May – the one that stretched 16 feet behind her down the aisle and seemed to be edged with a profusion of embroidered flora?
In the rush of images from that day and the worldwide gasping over her exquisite Givenchy wedding gown, you might have missed some of the amazing details of that veil – a secret surprise Meghan had carefully planned for her soon-to-be husband and his family. 
But there was one sharp-eyed 92-year-old great-grandmother in St. George"s Chapel who likely didn"t miss a thing about Markle"s wedding regalia – because it was a florid gesture of homage to her, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Meghan Markle"s sister arrives in London "for showdown"

Meghan Markle’s outspoken half sister Samantha has arrived in London afterher publicist revealed she wanted to meet with the Duchess.

The 53-year-old revealed: "Having a wonderful time in London! British people have been so lovely and helpful! If I can survive the roundabouts it will be a miracle LOL!"

Samantha’s publicist Rob Cooper took to Twitter to reveal she had been in Italy and that the pair were not quite ready to head back home to the U.S.


He wrote on Twitter: "Samantha Markle is coming to the UK. After making numerous attempts in private to arrange a one on one meeting with The Duchess of Sussex to discuss their 74 year old father’s health, Kensington Palace have refused to respond.
"I fear Meghan may not be made aware of these discreet, attempts and therefore making this public is the only option we have left. I currently have Samantha in Europe with just one short flight away.

Royal Wedding: Eugenie to follow in THESE royal footsteps and marry at Windsor Castle

Princess Eugenie and fiance Jack Brooksbank like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Earl of Wessex and the Queen"s eldest grandson Peter Phillips will get married in St George"s Chapel on Friday October 12.
Even the Prince of Wales wed in Windsor the second time around - in a civil ceremony in the town"s Guildhall, followed by a blessing in St George"s.

A photographer has shared some of the insights he has gained over the 40 years he has spent documenting the lives of the Royal Family.
Arthur Edwards, who first photographed the royals in 1977, reflected on the "tactile" and loving relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and revealed how he witnessed the breakdown in Charles and Diana"s marriage.
Speaking to Yahoo News" series The Royal Box, London-based Edwards told how Harry has become more "aloof" since meeting his wife as he more fully embraces his role as a senior statesman.
Finally he shared how their affectionate relationship hinted at years of future happiness to come.

Royal duty: Harry and William step out of the saddle as Princes restrict polo appearances

The young Princes are avid polo players and are regularly seen taking part in competitive matches in order to raise money for a variety of charities, including Prince Harry’s African charity, Sentebale.
The pair have raised over £10million for charities through the sport since 2007, with money from the 2018 Sentebale Polo Cup being donated to support mental health and wellbeing of children affected by HIV in southern Africa.
The Royal brothers are nevertheless expected to reduce their polo appearances in 2019, as they increase their Royal engagements in support of the Queen, who is gradually scaling down her commitments.
A Royal insider told Vanity Fair: “The big sponsors have been told the princes will be playing fewer games, but want to raise even more money.

“They are setting the bar high.”

Princess Alexandra of Hanover is no longer in line to the British throne.
Grace Kelly’s granddaughter was axed from the list after she became a member of the Catholic Church, according to Royal Central.
The 19-year-old is the only child of Prince Ernst August of Hanover and Princess Caroline of Monaco.
She was christened as a Lutheran – a branch of Protestant Christianity which identifies with the theology of Martin Luther – two months after she was born in 1999.

Figures show £1.5million was spent by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
This Government outlay included the cost of flags, banners, big screens, control barriers and rubbish disposal.
Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle, watched by two billion people across the world, is believed to have cost £32million.
The vast majority went on security, with a “ring of steel” around Windsor for the May 19 event.

But fascinating new cost details have emerged.
It also included £232,810 for the PA system which relayed events from inside St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle to the wider public.
A further £1,084,512 was paid to Windsor and Maidenhead council for “stewarding, crowd control barriers, big screens, waste disposal, barriers and associated costs” and private contractors received £128,714.
Staff travel and expenses cost £3,875, with a further £2,907 going on accreditation passes.
The Government also spent £14,081 on flags and banners.

REVEALED: Royal photographer says Prince Harry has CHANGED since marrying Meghan Markle

Arthur Edwards, who has photographed the Royal Family for over 40 years, said he has seen a “massive change” in Prince Harry.
He also claimed the Duke of Sussex is “very protective” of Meghan.
Speaking to The Royal Box, Mr Edwards was vocal about the changes he has seen since the Royal Wedding in May.
He said: “I can see a massive change. Harry’s become more aloof.

“He would always have a good relationship with the media.
“He would always engage in some way; that’s completely stopped now.
“Maybe he sees that the time joshing with Usain Bolt or hugging the Jamaican Prime Minister or getting sprayed with paint in Barbados.
"Maybe it’s time to stop now.”

Prince Harry and Meghan visited Ireland on their first overseas tour as a married couple in July.
The couple went to Dublin and visited Croke Park, the home of Hurling.
