England have announced their 23-man squad for the upcoming international break, and there’s good news for one Everton player, with disappointment for another.

There are five changes to the squad from the group that traveled to Russia, with Joe Gomez, Adam Lallana, Alex McHenry, Luke Shaw and James Tarkowski all joining up.
The Three Lions play Spain in their opening game of the UEFA Nations League at Wembley on Saturday 8th September, and then host Switzerland in Leicester on Tuesday 11th September.Manager Gareth Southgate spoke about his selection process -

Why Meghan Markle can wear a tiara but Princess Eugenie can"t

MOST people think that being a princess by birth means you get first dibs on wearing the royal family’s impressive collection of tiaras.
But surprisingly, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie aren’t allowed to give their eveningwear that extra sparkle — despite the fact that ‘commoners’ Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton can wear tiaras whenever they fancy.
MORE: Why Meghan Markle didn’t sign a prenup before marrying Prince Harry
MORE: Harry and Will’s big mistakeAccording to British jewellery expert Geoffrey Munn, custom dictates that only married women can wear tiaras.
“Any woman may wear one, but ancient tradition has it that they must be a bride or already married,” he told Irish website Her.
“The tiara has its roots in classical antiquity and was seen as an emblem of the loss of innocence to the crowning of love.“One of the mainstays of European royalty and aristocracy is to do what you have always done and formal dress, jewellery, and tiaras are just part of this.”

Prince Harry turns crooner on stage for Hamilton musical appearance

PRINCE Harry became the star of the show when he burst into song during an appearance at the hit musical Hamilton.
Dressed in a navy suit and tie the Duke of Sussex turned crooner offered a glimpse at his own performance while on stage with the cast.
The show was held to raise money for the Duke’s HIV education charity Sentebale.
“You say …” the prince started to croon a few words of the song You’ll Be Back, treating the cast and crowd to a song sung by the King George III character — the Duke’s sixth-great-grandfather.
The theatre then erupted in cheers and laughter.
“That’s enough — he did try, but I said no,” he said, gesturing to the show’s creator, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who stood behind him on stage. “I don’t know how these guys do it, every single night, and in this heat as well,” Harry continued.
The prince then went on to thank the crowd for their help in raising money to help children in southern Africa.
Mr Miranda later tweeted: “King George III’s great-great-great-great-great-great …

Revealing detail in Prince Harry"s bedroom

WELL, now we know who Prince Harry"s teenage crush was.
A recently resurfaced photo of the now-33-year-old royal"s dorm room when he was an 18-year-old student and boarder at Eton College shows Harry"s looked like many an ordinary messy teenage boy"s room: A CD player, what appears to be a tube of Lynx body spray (!) and personal photos up on the walls.
There were also a few pin-up girls thumb-tacked to his wall - including one gorgeous Hollywood star who couldn"t help but notice her presence in the photo.
Oscar-winner Halle Berry shared the photo on Twitter this week, giving Prince Harry a shout-out for his excellent taste in women. See if you can spot Berry in the pic:

French trawlermen threaten more clashes with English scallop rivals… after Channel sea battle left Brits demanding ...

FRENCH fishermen who attacked Brit trawlers over scallops today warned the war has only just begun as the UK calls for the Royal Navy to protect our boats.
Five boats were blockaded by 40 French vessels on Tuesday morning who lobbed petrol, smoke bombs and rocks in a two-and-a-half hour fishing rights battle.

British fisherman claim they dodged Molotov cocktails and petrol bombs in a clash with French rivals

The President of the Normandy Regional Fisheries Committee has also waded in - claiming it is becoming "more complicated to talk to the English" because of Brexit.
Dimitri Rogoff said: "We will go out to see the English again soon."A skipper on one of the French boats caught up in the clash has warned Tuesday"s ordeal could just be the start, with fishermen vowing to put pressure on shops to take British scallops off the shelves.
Anthony Quesnel, captain of La Rose des Vents, told The Times: "If we let them do what they want, they"ll ravage the area.

Meghan Markle Returns to TV for New Queen Elizabeth Documentary — and She"s Talking Royal Wedding!

Meghan Markle is heading back in front of the camera!
The Duchess of Sussex has taken part in a major new documentary series for the first time since becoming a royal.
Meghan, 37, is featured along with husband Prince Harry, 33, and other members of the royal family in a film about Queen Elizabeth and the Commonwealth – the family of nations linked to the U.K.
Meghan takes part in “a conversation, a stand-up chat” for the film, Queen of the World, which airs over two parts on ITV next month, a palace source says.

Two members of the royal family, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, and the Queen’s daughter Princess Anne have given formal “sit down” interviews, a royal source adds. Meghan, Harry, Prince Charles and Prince William all appear as the show promises to feature “behind-the-scenes moments with the Sovereign and other members of the Royal Family,” a statement from ITV says.
While ITV has not confirmed the details of Meghan’s role in the film, ITV News’ royal corr…

Duchess of Sussex doing secret charity work

IT’S been exactly two weeks since royal correspondent Richard Palmer implored the Duchess of Sussex to “step it up” and do more charity work.
“What I’d like to see is her taking up the cudgels now on behalf of some charities, some big issues. She has the power to make a real difference in the world,” Palmer told Yahoo’s The Royal Box program.
“That’s the way to change the conversation [away from father Thomas Markle and half-sister Samantha], to move it on.”
But royal historian and expert Marlene Koenig said Meghan Markle is actually already doing charitable work in her new role. She’s simply doing it in secret.“From what I understand, she’s been working privately with [The Royal Foundation],” Koenig said, pointing to the main charity the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, work with.

Koenig explained the extent of Meghan’s welfare work is being kept under wraps until she has completed her “princess classes”, and is completely at ease with the cultural a…

Prince Harry Charmed the World Again By Singing 2 Words Onstage

Prince Harry briefly showed off his pipes Wednesday night, proving he could always take up a career in music if the whole royal family thing doesn’t work out.
As if the polo stick slinger and Meghan Markle attending a performance at Hamilton at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre weren’t special enough, Prince Harry hopped onstage to treat audiences to his singing voice.
“You say….” he began to warm choruses of applause.
It was just a snippet from the Hamilton song “You’ll Be Back” that the tyrannical King George III character sings. But it was more than enough to make the crowd flip for it. Not to mention, the musical’s creator Lin-Manuel Miranda stomped his foot in excitement, and of course royal fans online joined in on the cheers. The concert was held to raise money for Sentebale, the charity that Prince Harry co-founded with Prince Seesio of Lesotho that works to support kids with HIV, AIDS and children with high needs in Lesotho and Botswana.Instead of finishing the song – effectively …

The Other Side of the "Markle Debacle"

"What riles me is Meghan"s sense of superiority. She"d be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her. I tell you, I’ve just about reached my limit with Meghan and the Royal family. I’m about to unload on them."Following months of tabloid interviews, collusion with the paparazzi, a woeful stint on Good Morning Britain (and let"s not forget those car crash late night chats with TMZ), these are the words which finally tipped the balance, prompting even those most sympathetic to Thomas Markle to pause for thought and say enough is enough. Are these the words of a loving, caring father with the best interests of his daughter at heart? In a series of dyspeptic outbursts one could argue Markle seems hellbent on causing as much aggravation, humiliation and public embarrassment to his daughter as he can possibly muster. In the days before the Royal Wedding, a time which should have been among the most joyous in Harry a…

Since becoming a member of the British royal family when she married Prince Harry last May, Meghan Markle’s style has gone through an evolution thoroughly scrutinized by the media and the public.
Although the 37-year-old American former actress had a developed sense of fashion and a chic modern style well before her nuptials, since becoming a duchess she has had to rewire some of her ways in order to respond to the strictures of royal protocol, which is so rigid it confuses even some expert royalists.
