If you had to choose a FRIENDS character that most represents you, who would you pick?


Most girls would probably go for Rachel due to her impeccable style or Phoebe for her go-with-the flow attitude. The guys on the other hand probably like to think that they have the game of Joey or the brains of Ross.


But when it comes to the remaining two character’s, Monica’s Type A, OCD behaviour and Chandler’s socially awkward nature and lame jokes, you’d probably choose them last as a characters you’d like to be compared to.

Unfortunately for two royals though, they don’t really have much choice in the matter as it appears that royal staff have chosen the married pair from the sitcom as appropriate nicknames for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.


And the reason mostly comes down to Meghan’s alleged controlling reputation.


According to the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex has reportedly been compared to Monica from FRIENDS, played by Courtney Cox, due to the character’s obsessively clean and bossy nature.

Meanwhile Prince Harry has been given the nickname Chandler, played by Matthew Perry, due to his apparent likeable but submissive attitude.

These claims come amid reports that Meghan’s behaviour has been rather strict and after her estranged father Thomas Markle admitted in an explosive interview with Good Morning Britain that his daughter had “always been controlling”.


Thomas said during the interview that his 37-year-old daughter had always been “polite” but likes to be in charge.


This is also after rumours spread far and wide that there was a rift between the newlywed couple and Prince William and Kate.


The two brothers are rumoured to have had a falling out while Kate was apparently left in tears over an incident involving Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress for Meghan and Harry’s royal Wedding back in May.


Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also set to snub royal traditions over Christmas this year after Meghan raised concerns about the annual pheasant shoot, with her reportedly asking Prince Harry not to partake in killing “defenceless animals”.


Harry has participated in this shoot for over 20 years alongside his brother William.


It’s also reported that Harry and soon-to-be-mum Meghan will not be spending Christmas at Will and Kate’s Norfolk home as they did last year but will instead be at Sandringham with the Queen.
