Kate"s sister Pippa enjoys Caribbean sun with son and husband as Duchess stays with royals - Express

The happy family was seen strolling around the Caribbean island of St Barts, where James’s father, David, owns a luxury hotel. , who gave birth to little Arthur Michael William less than three months ago, looked relaxed and sported a full holiday attire, wearing a white blouse with holed detailing, blue jeans and a brown shoulder bag. The couple, who got married in May 2017 after a 10-year-long love story, was in the company of James’s brother and Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

As they all soaked up some sun, the family’s attentions were all for the newborn, who Pippa cradled in her arms.

A heart-warming picture shows Spencer touching Pippa’s shoulder and lovingly looking at the baby.

Another snap shows the grandfatherly affection David has for Arthur, with James’s dad leaning over the 11-month-old to kiss him on the forehead.

This is not the first time Pippa chooses to spend her winter holidays on the island.

In January 2016 she headed there with her brother James Middleton, likely staying at the Matthews’s resort, the Eden Rock, often visited by A-listers such as Elton John, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio for a stunning £25,000 a night.

The happy family was not joined by Pippa’s sister, Kate, who spent her Christmas festivities with Prince William, their children and the at Sandringham, the Queen’s wintry residence in Norfolk.

Arriving together at Sandringham on Christmas Eve, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are believed to have remained there until Boxing Day, missing the chance to spend a more relaxed day with the Middletons, who on December 26 enjoyed a festive outing at a pub in Berkshire.

James and Pippa were seen arriving to a local pub in Berkshire, where the Middletons live, with the rest of her family, all wearing wellington boots and denim jeans.

Meanwhile, Kate cast aside rumours of a rift with looking all smiles next to the Duchess of Sussex as they arrived to St Mary Madgalene Church in Sandringham.

And the pair even played board games together after the traditional Queen"s speech was aired on December 25, a source claimed.

An insider told The Sun: “If German and British troops could put their differences to one side to play football during World War One, the feeling was Kate and Meghan could follow suit for Scrabble.

“After watching the Queen’s speech, the board games were brought out and both women got stuck in.

“Pregnant Meghan wasn’t drinking but Kate had a glass of wine or two, and everyone was in great spirits.

“They were chuckling along together. You wouldn’t know there was any tension between the two. It was a wonderful day and night.”

Rumours of a feud between the duchesses started when Meghan and Prince Harry announced they would move to Frogmore Cottage, miles away from Kensington Palace where Kate and William live.
