Where do Prince Harry and Meghan Live? - New Idea

Where do Prince Harry and Meghan Live?

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex currently live at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in England where Prince William and Kate Middleton used to reside day to day, before they moved to 1A a 20-room apartment also located inside the palace.

The sprawling Kensington Palace grounds is also home to 15 other royal family members, including Princess Eugenie and her soon to be husband Jack Brooksbank and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s cottage is a cosy two-bedroom home, which features a small garden and two living spaces. It’s the perfect location for the couple until they start a family.

Recently, Kensington Palace confirmed that The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will move out of their modest cottage on the grounds of Kensington palace into lush new digs in Windsor.

The couple, who were gifted the home by The Queen are expected to move in next year.

But in the meantime, the couple lives at Nottingham Cottage most of the time although The Queen recently gifted them Adelaide Cottage located inside Windsor Palace where they likely spend their weekends.

The property is a Grade II listed building and boasts many unique features such as a covered ceiling with gilded dolphins and a grand master bedroom with a stunning fireplace feature.

Adelaide Cottage was originally built by Sir Jeffery Wyatville in 1831 but was also renovated in 2015, giving the property a modern touch but also retaining its period features.

There has also been talk of Prince Harry setting his sights on Beaconsfield Farm, a Roman villa set in the Cotswolds.

If they do purchase the property it will need some serious renovations though.

“The understanding is that Harry’s seriously thinking of taking on Beaconsfield Farm. It’s a right old mess at the moment though — its full of mud. It’s a couple of barns I think. He’ll have to do it up,” a local resident told a British tabloid.

The properties are a far cry from where Meghan Markle used to live. Her home in Toronto was a modest two-storey house located near Bathurst and Dupont Streets.

The former actress rented it from Flare fashion director Elizabeth Cabral and her husband Kevin O Neill.

The modern home features a deep plum exterior and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and hardwood floors.
