Serena Williams calls Kate "number one bad**s" woman despite being "friends" with Meghan

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are two of the world’s most famous women thanks to their marriages.

Both are wed to British princes William, 36, and Harry, 33.

Meghan married Prince Harry on 19 May this year after a two year romance.

Prince William and Kate wed in April 2011, after being together for ten years since they met at university.

Now a friend of Meghan Markle’s has revealed her thoughts on the pair.

Serena Williams, an internationally renowned tennis ace how is considered the best tennis player in the world, used colourful language to describe Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.

She called the royal her “number one” bad a** woman.

Serena was asked by InStyle to name who she thought of as ‘bad a**’.

The tennis player said: “Well, obviously Beyoncé. That goes unsaid. Rihanna goes unsaid. Kate Middleton!”

She described how the royal and mother-of-three appeared on the steps of the Lindo Wing.

Serena added: “She was…standing. So she’s officially No. 1.”

The tennis player attended Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry’s wedding this year.

She and her husband Alexis Ohanian look wonderful, with him in a dapper suit and Serena looking stunning in pink.

The tennis player Married her husband in 2017 and their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. born in September 2017.

In the interview Serena also addressed her friendship with Meghan Markle.

Speaking of the wedding she said: “It was super fun. You know, I’ve known Meghan for years, so it was good to see my friend happy.”

Meghan posted a picture of herself with Serena on her now deleted Instagram account.

The two also attended the DirecTV Beach Bowl game on 1 February 2014.

Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece gave a friendly warning to Meghan in a recent interview. 

The Grecian royal has some words of advice for the Duchess of Sussex.
