Meghan Markle"s adorable birthday gift to Kate - New Idea


Despite all the rumours, Closer magazine reports that Meghan sweetly surprised her sister-in-law on her birthday, by sending Kate a special gift along with a handwritten birthday card. 


The gesture was received during an intimate dinner organised solely by Prince William at Kensington Palace, where Kate and her closest friends toasted to the Duchess turning 37.

A royal source allegedly told the publication that Kate greatly appreciated the token and Markle hoped the gift would combat all the negative press. 


"Meghan"s at her wit"s end over all the negative press," the source told Closer magazine, "and she hopes her gesture towards Kate will help."


Although it is reported by Closer magazine that Kate thought the present and personal card was very sweet, the source did say "Their relationship is still developing."

The Duchess of Sussex joined university leaders, academics and international scholarship students for an event hosted by the Association of Commonwealth Universities at King"s College London to discuss higher education opportunities for young people all over the world. Discussion focused on the role of universities in addressing human trafficking and modern slavery, gender equality and inclusion, peace and reconciliation, and climate change and resilience. Famous pop singer Robbie Williams" daughter, Theordora Rose is set to become a bridesmaid for the wedding, which will take place in October this year.
